WHAT DOES JNANA ABHYASA LOOK LIKE?
Jnana means knowledge, In the vedantic context- it is the knowledge of Self/ATMAN/ BRAHMAN/ SAT-CIT-ANANDA
Abhaysa means practice. In Vedantic context, it is akin to nidhidhyasam-making the experience my own.
After shravanam and mananam, one has to practice all that one has heard and reflected upon. By constant meditation on Aham Brahmasmi, I am infinite, i can start seeing Infinite in myself and the world around me.
Only practice -Jnana Abhyasa can bring us close to perfection.
‘Perfection is the only return to our Real nature and this can happen only when we voluntarily relinquish the God-eclipsing anti spiritual ego-sense and it’s action.’
