The most universal question should be-Am I happy?
But in most cases, the common question ends up being-WHY ME?
We are so focused on articles, being and circumstances; so much attached to these ABC’s, with all kind of expectations from the external world. When things don’t go our way, we lament- Why me? Why is this happening? What is the world coming to?
We love to complain about all and sundry from environment to the government. We rejoice in this common and shared negativity.
By asking these non-productive questions, we fail to recognize the lessons being taught to us, we fail to own our responsibility. We identify with our egos so much, we go even further away from divine.
Only Guru can guide our way and bring us to the path if we are willing to make an effort. Then we may learn to ask the right questions.
