The hairstyles I changed, sparked few chiding comments thankfully by family only since we were out of town and no one knew me, so even if they thought it was ridiculous , no one said it.

Most comments ( by kids)- sharing some examples-

“this is so bad!”

“Oh, very ugly!

“That makes you look so much older.”

“Bub isn’t mamma looking really bad!”

“This is so dabba ( a generic derogatory word they use for anything unpleasant )!!!”….

Hmmm Not very kind comments .🙄

but I carried on unperturbed . My husband appreciated one time, the same time as my son criticized !

Lessons learnt-

Looks-It’s all ones perspective

It’s all superficial. The way I looked didn’t affect the way my family loved me ( I hope). I could look obnoxious but they knew I’m still the same person.

One needs to go beyond body/ physicality .

Hair symbolize our attachments. How it would be to shave ?

So much time is wasted on hair styling ! Time could be used much wisely
