sac-cid-ānanda-rūpāya viśvotpattyādi-hetave

The first shlokam from Sri Bhagvatah Mahatmya, invokes our salutations/prostration to Bhagvan Krishna who is Existence -Awareness-Joy and essentially our own Nature. He is the cause of Creation yet the creation itself.

One should remember this all the time yet like a lost travelers we need reminders on the way and ‘super bowl ’ was as good as any .

In fact, any excuse to remember Bhagvan is a great excuse….. this brings us closer to our own Self.

So I’d say ‘sac-cid-ānanda-rūpāya viśvotpattyādi-hetave’ mentally. At the least it created space for thoughts of divine, instead of irrelevant, non productive thoughts. Yet as I said it more, I thought about it more too.

He is calling. What am I waiting for ?
