Reflection 9

What are the tangible measures you can take to think before you speak?

If the world was a stage and our life was a play, I can explain it this way-

Backstage /Preliminary preparation -

This starts before the actual act of speaking. If I actively engage in quietude and self development, I will tune into independent joy. My likes and dislikes will decrease. One can only give what one has . So if I’m angry person, the texture of my thoughts will pilfer into my words. For me the FIRST step is to engage in self development.

Engaging In satsanga and Sadhana’s has helped me quietening my mind. That has helped me in clarity of thinking. The clearer my thoughts are, more efficiently I use my words.

Again-We can only give what we have! If I’m happy and cheerful, I can share that with others and my words automatically become kind and loving so that I don’t have to force myself to be ‘kind’. It becomes ones nature. Empathy, compassion, love becomes you.

My aspiration has been to empower the people I come in contact with especially at work. I try to Give them to tools to help them take care of their own health. It’s incredible to see how this change in my vision has brought help for others but given much more fulfillment to me.

The Scene-1

I start my day with the vision-

Do not let anyone leave your sphere without them feeling better.

As I move on through my day, with this thought as the backdrop of my stage, the words automatically become aligned.

I feel so grateful to be a small yet meaningful part of someone’s story. There is reason I have been given this opportunity. My works becomes my sadhana.

Thank you thank you thank you Vivekji
