Japa

I could not help but pen this verse on Japa-

Your Name

( inspired by Dao De Ching)

I wear the armor of Your name.

There is a war going on outside.

I try to shield my inside.

I write Your name in the clouds.

It merges with You, as Sun comes out.

Who can touch me now-

Disease, infirmity, melancholy, vanity?

And even if they do,

they can not touch my soul.

That sacred place where You live,

i guard with armor of Your name.

Who can hurt me now?

when De becomes Dao.

“We try to Align with The Dao thru De

You are The Dao and the De”

( last 2 lines were shared last week during a discussion on Lao Tze, by my friend and guide Ruma, to whom I can never express enough gratitude for her guidance. I thought they merge with verse seamlessly)

Your name is on my tongue. Your image is in my sight. Your memory is in my heart. Where can I send the words, that I write ~Rumi
