I’m so fortunate to be in a profession where there is abundant seva opportunity. The key is intent. Few years ago, though I enjoyed what I did , but Work used to be work- a way to make living. At home, if the work distribution seemed unfair, it annoyed me.

Blessed by the guidance of guru and Vedanta, in last 5 years, my vision has changed. I started seeing my work as an opportunity to serve people. Every patient interaction became much more meaningful and joyful. My patients could sense it too. I really started to love my work even more.

At home, the more I trained my self to envision what I did as a seva opportunity, the less agitated I was. The less I complained.

In brief, is there any better way to make ones life more meaningful than to see seva in all that we do.? This is most practical. In fact this is the only way to perform actions. I hope and pray that one day, Seva becomes the only intent behind all my actions. No expectations.

Just doing seva is a reward in itself.
