Day 4- Sunday August 12th

Black Mirror

I stand before

a black Mirror.

It hides, the highlights of my expressions.

Contortions of my anger,

saturations of love and danger.

I camouflage the transparency

by my conniving mind.

In this black mirror.

I search for You,

when I can’t even see

the ugliness of my face

and craft of my Machiavellian mind.

My eyes-blind.

Yet, slowly when I gain the sight

the mirror turns light.

No one can satiate this soul.

Only You.

The truth will be revealed

only by Your grace.

Your name is on my tongue. Your image is in my sight. Your memory is in my heart. Where can I send the words, that I write ~Rumi
