After spending so many years in Vedanta classes and satsangs, quietening the mind should have become my innate nature , yet am not there. The raws help in constant reminder and hammering of teachings (like Moha Mudgara-hammering into my mind). My morning always start with a big mason jar of water. Recently a book called-Braiding Sweetgrasg, gifted by a dear friends is helping me transform this one way relationship with nature into a sacred bond. The more i l am learning to live in harmony with nature, the quieter I become, the grateful i become. I drink the water with the sense of gratitude for healing me, nourishing me. This routine helps me a lot. Sometime i say a mantra as I look into the jar before drinking. The mantra- I am hapiness. As it assimilates in me I visualize it to quieten each cell within me.
